Assessor urges cash for reporting local tax cheats
City residents and others could earn up to $500,000 by turning in tax evaders under a program proposed Monday by San Francisco Assessor Phil Ting.Snitch money! And just in time for Christmas shopping, too.The “Real Estate Watchdog” program would target commercial property owners who have failed to report property sales, which trigger a property reassessment — hence higher taxes — and transfer taxes.

Don't you hate it when people cheat the system nad negatively affect others. Why in the world would you want to raise real estate taxes somewhere imagine if it happened in a nice place like to the rio rancho Real Estate market
