A Real Investigation In Ferguson Could Be Concluded In a Week

Ferguson: Michael Brown Investigation Will Take Time, Feds Say – TIME

“The modern 24-hour news cycle hampers law enforcement’s ability to conduct a successful investigation”

No, it hampers the ability of the state to play duck, cover, and obfuscate until their problem du jour disappears into the rear view mirror, and they can start handling by it saying, “Dude, that was years ago.  Can’t we just move on?”

An investigation that covers most of the salient points and answers most of the salient questions could be done in a week.  But that investigation would likely not render up the results the race-baiting culture-warriors and their federal handmaidens want to see.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
