Wait a sec: Ferguson police chief says initial contact with Brown wasn’t connected to robbery; Update: Cop figured it out during stop? « Hot Air

Blocking traffic is annoying but it shouldn’t lead to a man lying dead on the asphalt.

It didn’t. Brown grabbing for the cop’s gun (at least that’s the police version) led to him lying dead on the asphalt.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. The cop did not necessarily have to know anything about a robbery…the robber knew about the robbery and would have reacted accordingly.

Ron White has a great line, “I had the right to remain silent, I just didn’t have the ability.”
