Finally: A Great Reason to Support Mittens Romneycare In 2016

WaPo: Romney 2016 idea gaining steam among his supporters « Hot Air

From Pat Cadell on Fox today (in the comments):

“I want to tell you that I am shocked at my friend Doug’s prediction [that Romney would be the nominee]. He may very well be right, and if so that would be the end of the Republican party.

This is a man [Romney] that should have won the last time but he lost an election that any rational candidate should have won because he’s so terrible.”

Would I trade a Romney candidacy for the destruction of the GOP?

Sure.  In a heartbeat.

This country is going to continue to go to hell unless and until we have two political parties that actually represent differing core beliefs, rather than two that simply support the endless expansion of the state at slightly differing speeds.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
