Check out my new bestseller, Lightning Fall: A Novel of Disaster. Glenn Reynolds at says: “Bill Quick has authored a terrific thriller that is also an all too plausible warning. Highly recommended!” Available in Kindle e-book or trade paperback formats.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. I discovered a really cute trick Verizon is pulling. Ever wonder at their maps showing all the area they cover? Well, my brother just moved to a small town in Iowa, had terrible Verizon service, and complained. So they sent him a boaster, free! The catch — you must have internet service for it to connect to. So Verizon is free-riding on their customers’ internet connection to expand their coverage.

  2. I have no idea what I did to the Verizon post, but it seems to have vanished and I can’t find it. I like my blog editor, but sometimes my fat, fumbling fingers make it do stuff about which I am clueless. Sorry.

I’ll leave your comments in place, even though they look a little weird attached to this post.
