How President Prestidigitator Really Works

Endless wave of illegal immigrants floods Rio Grande valley | Fox News

EXCLUSIVE: McALLEN, Texas — Life jackets of all sizes and the occasional punctured raft are strewn along the banks of the Rio Grande, just south of Mission, Texas, where a relentless onslaught of illegal immigrants eagerly surrender to beleaguered Border Patrol agents around the clock.

It’s a cycle for which there is no end in sight.

“You’re going to be out here a long time,” Fernando, an El Salvadoran child, told shortly after surrendering to Border Patrol authorities after midnight Saturday. “There are thousands of us.”

With most of the men and women charged with securing the Mexican border busy processing some of the 60,000 illegal immigrants who have made the harrowing – and sometimes deadly -journey to the American border in the past nine months, only a handful of Border Patrol agents drive the riverside loop in a small town called Granjeno just south of Mission, in the Rincon peninsula.

The subtle propaganda at work here sickens me. Fox is a Rupert Murdoch company, and Murdoch is a huge supporter of scamnesty for illegal aliens. And his employees reflect that prejudice.

Here, for instance, a <s>news writer<s> propaganda hack chooses to lead the story with a picture of a downtrodden fortyish mother and two tiny children not yet in their teens, when in fact the face of this current invasion is mostly male, and mostly between the ages of sixteen and twenty-six, the bulk of them “children” only by the Obama administration insisting that younger people between the age of 18 and 26 are “children.”

Next, the “relentless onslaught” (relentless, unrelenting, endless) of illegals “eagerly surrenders” to “beleaguered” Border guards. The impression is pushed that these tiny children are throwing themselves across the border like refugees fleeing, oh, a Muslim onslaught,” and that the guards are desperately working overtime with one goal in mind: to rescue these poor people from their fears and misery.

Left unsaid is that none of their travails would have occurred if they had not illegally tried to enter the United States (at the behest of Barack Obama).

The overwhelmed ICE employees are described as hopelessly ill-equipped to rescue these poor people (from the consequences of their own actions). But equally unmentioned is that Barack Obama has deliberately handcuffed ICE in every way possible.

The truth is that every bit of this “crisis” has been ginned up by Barack Obama, whose single-minded goal is open borders and scamnesty for the 20 million (criminal: by definition) illegals already in the country, as part of his effort to “fundamentally transform” America into a European-style social welfare state. He invited the illegals here, he made it impossible for the federal agency charged with protection the border to stop them, and, instead of trying to send them back, he is now seeking new billions to pay for normalizing their presence here, while at the same time he is shipping them all over the nation in secret.

And he is being wholeheartedly supported in this by his court media, by suicidal corporate interests interested only in cheap labor, by Democrat politicians who see a permanent new underclass voting for Democrats for the next several generations, by clueless Libertarians who fail to see the suicidal nature of parts of their own ideology, and by a dark element of his own following that hates the United States, and wants to see it brought down.

Learn to watch and read for this sort of propaganda masquerading as new reporting. If you understand it, and look, you’ll find it everywhere.

Unfortunately, if you are somebody willing and able to do this, you aren’t the target. The target is the much larger group of clueless rational ignoramuses who drift through life absorbing reality via tailored forms of osmosis. And, when they occasionally raise their heads and mutter, “Why have things gotten so shitty lately?” they have no way of finding an answer. So they lower their heads and go back to chewing their cuds, like the good, mindless cattle they are.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
