Barack Obama: Stealth Libertarian? –

No, Matt, he’s not.  Even though he thinks it’s okay for you to smoke as much pot as you want.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. From the link:

…anti-interventionists may miss the 44th president when he’s gone.

That alone might be considered snicker-worthy, if it wasn’t so pathetically, outright stoopid.

It’s a pathetic statement about contemporary American politics that a few short years from now, libertarians may start to feel nostalgic for the guy.

It’s also a pathetically, utterly brain-dead untrue statement. Sorry, simply impossible to imagine any conceivable future in American politics that would produce any sort of “nostalgia” for Barky the Socialistic SCOAMF.

Welch must’ve been tokin’ down really heavily on some “enhanced” version of that Mahvellous Mind-Meld that, as Bill says, Barky doesn’t really care if he inhales in major quantity, in order to generate this kind of “pipe-dream”.
