Apple Is Cooked

Tim Cook’s Apple: Middling Products Designed to Pad the Bottom Line While Gouging Loyal Customers – The Daily Beast

The only difference between Cook’s Apple and Jobs’ Apple is that Jobs’ products were great – and designed to pad the bottom line while gouging loyal customers.

Cook is living on Jobs’ seed corn.  That can’t go on forever.

At some point even the dumbest, most credulous fanbois will grow restive.

In the meantime, I’m running a Sony Windows Ultrabook that kicks the living crap out of the Mac Air, and a Chinese Android phablet (now rooted) that does likewise with Apple mini-tablets and phones.  All for a hell of a lot less money.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
