Department of Blogging Extinction: Technorati Rankings Are Dead – Businessweek

During the salad days of blogging in the first decade of the 21st century, nobody could touch Technorati when it came to searching and sizing up the roiling mass of hot-blooded humanity that came to be known as the blogosphere.

Just magically “came to be known,” eh, you sniveling progressive snotbag?   Anything to avoid giving credit where credit is due, right?  And by the way, I named the Blogosphere before Technorati even existed, and I’ve been blogging at Daily Pundit continuously ever since. (via Instapundit – thanks!)

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. Consider the source: BizzynessSqueak – Yet another “gift” from someone named Bloomberg; aka, NooSqueak for people who don’t know any better…

Obviously, someone at that place is operating under the unjustifiable belief that their opinionated viewpoint is 1) inherently correct and 2) valuable to everyone else on-line. Unfortunately for them, neither 1) nor 2) has any particular basis in fact.
