“Please know that we are doing everything in our power to find a solution to this difficult situation, one that best serves our authors and their work, and that preserves our ability to survive and thrive as a strong and author-centric publishing company,” Hachette chief executive Michael Pietsch said in a letter to authors this week.

It is to laugh. After dealing with mainstream dead tree publishers through two dozen books and thirty years, they can’t go belly up soon enough to suit me.
Check out my new bestseller, Lightning Fall: A Novel of Disaster. Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit.com says: “Bill Quick has authored a terrific thriller that is also an all too plausible warning. Highly recommended!” Available in Kindle e-book or trade paperback formats.
