Pelosi: I’ll Decide on Democrats’ Benghazi Panel Participation After Meeting With Boehner

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says she won’t decide whether Democrats will participate on the House select committee on Benghazi until after she has a meeting with Republican House Speaker John Boehner.

She also says Boehner is “trying to avoid the meeting.” But it was Boehner who suggested the meeting in the first place, Pelosi said Wednesday on CNN’s “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.”

Screw the old hag.  Don’t meet with her.  Make your appointments to the committee and then proceed.  If the Dems boycott, who cares?  The thing is to uncover the corruption, not play nice with Pelosi.

You think she’d treat you the way she’s demanding to be treated, you gutless morons?  Even when you’re nominally in control, Pelosi runs you around like a bunch of scared little kids.

Check out my new bestseller, Lightning Fall: A Novel of Disaster. Glenn Reynolds at says: “Bill Quick has authored a terrific thriller that is also an all too plausible warning. Highly recommended!” Available in Kindle e-book or trade paperback formats.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. What you observe, but do not comment on, is the difference between politicians and statesmen. Politicians win out, because they get their rewards right now, while they can bask in the glory. Statesmen get their rewards from future generations, long after the momentary good feelings have evaporated.

America is dead; the body has yet to be interred. Cause of death is ignorance.

America had a good run, above the two-hundred-year average.

The next few decades are going to be very interesting, in the Chinese sense.
