Maybe a Deal, Maybe Not – You Decide (Or Wait Three Weeks For the Asus T200)

ASUS T100TA Transformer Book 10.1″ Touchscreen 2-in-1 Laptop and Tablet with Windows 8.1 and 32GB SSD (Manufacturer Refurbished) Deal of the Day | Groupon

Just so you know, I don’t make any money off Groupon sales.
Then there is this to consider:  From everything I’m hearing, Asus will announce a refresh of this model with a faster processor and possibly more memory, while at the same time rolling out the Asus T200, an 11.6″ screen model with a faster processor and possibly more memory as well as other improvements, which will also include Microsoft office in the price.  This new unit may also start at $349-$399.  Rumor has it that the new models will be rolled out at the gigantic Taiwanese computer show, Computex, the first week in June of this year (although we may see a leaked “announcement” a few days before that.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
