Denver cab driver mistakes Italian gun executive for terrorist, calls police |

Perazzi’s U.S. attorney told Fox 31 Denver that her client was scared during the incident because he’s not familiar with U.S. gun laws and thought he’d done something wrong. She said legal action is a possibility in the future.

Just this past week, some Denver taxi drivers were honored for reporting incidents while on duty. A program called Taxis on Patrol (TOPS) encourages cabbies to report suspicious activity while they’re on the clock.

And if you’ve been brainwashed to believe that anybody with a gun is a terrorist – or that guns alone are sufficient proof of terrorist intent, well….

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. Well, y'know, you can't be too careful 'bout  some gun-totin' furriner –

I mean, he seemed real suspicious, right? – took a cab…while toting seven brand-new, high-grade, engraved shotguns…to a gun show, right there in town!

    Obviously a terrorist, hey?…

(Somebody needs to check up on that cab-driver, though – I mean, it seems like he would be a danger to the public, driving that cab around without more than two or three functioning brain-cells in his otherwise-empty skull…)
