Equal Tyranny Under the Law: David Gregory Goes Free

» David Gregory will not be prosecuted – Le·gal In·sur·rec·tion

Just released by D.C. Attorney General there will be no prosecution of David Gregory despite a finding that there was a clear violation of the law (emphasis mine):

From this point forward, we are no longer a nation of laws, but of laws written by men with clout for men with clout.

I have no respect for such a legal system, and so I shall from this moment on regard the law as something to be evaded or ignored whenever and wherever it suits my purposes.

No, this is not civil disobedience. I am taking the David Gregory approach, and expect to both avoid and ignore laws I find inconvenient, as well as evade any punishment or other consequences for so doing.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
