Should Local Schools Admit the Latest Illegal Immigrants? – Rasmussen Reports™

School districts around the country are beginning to discover where the Obama administration has moved many of the new illegal immigrants, but most voters don’t believe these youngsters should be allowed to attend local schools.

Thirty-two percent (32%) of Likely U.S. Voters think these illegal immigrants should be allowed to enroll in local public schools this fall, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Fifty-three percent (53%) disagree and say they should not be permitted to attend local schools. Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Doesn’t matter, citizen.  STFU and get the hell out of the way of your new lords and masters from south of the border.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. Let’s get their complete medical records. No records, no school. If that’s good enough for citizens and legal residents, it’s good enough for illegals.

Or another approach: assuming it costs $10k/year to put a kid through school, let’s see Ofuckface pony up the half billion dollars it’ll cost the local districts to take his tens of thousands of recently-entered little bastards. No money, no school.

My first reaction to that was to think, “Hell, NO, there’s no effin’ way those li’l rat-bastards should be permitted anywhere near the U.S. public school system!!…” Then – on further reflection, I decided: Hey, why not, fershitsakes? –

Consider: 1) As utterly, thoroughly grotched-up as the present-day iteration of just about all U.S. public schools clearly are…is it even possible (much less likely) that the addition of another slug of primary-Spanish-speakers will make anything about that noticeably worse? 2) No, it’s not “right” that these “children” should be enrolled/included in the public schools – but, hey, we’re already “hosting” a clearly-detectible (if anyone cares to look – in general, public school administrators and most teachers don’t, so far as I can see) segment of illegals in those same schools. Why treat this latest couple of percentage-points differently from the de facto reality? 3) Finally – for the part of this bunch of “children” who would actually be interested in at least some semblance of an education (Who knows? – some of ‘em may actually want to learn to speak, read and write English…or at least Spanglish), this would simultaneously a) afford them that opportunity, while keeping them mostly off the streets and (at least part-time) out of the second-level workforce, and b) suitably over-burden that bunch of NEA- and AFT-bots (Read: Labor-union devotees) who deserve to “benefit” from the opportunity to perhaps regret getting what too many of them have been wishing for: Lots more willing pupils!! As for the segment of said “new enrollees” who actually have little or no interest in further formal education (or at least what passes for that in our current public classrooms) – well – truancy officials can always use some additional work-load, right?

Therefore – let the games begin!!…
