Duboce Triangle beating victim dies after being taken off life… | www.ktvu.com

San Francisco police said surveillance video captured the assault. Authorities said they’re searching for a man in a hooded sweatshirt seen running from the scene.

The victims sister Allana Higgins told KTVU Higgins moved to San Francisco from Missouri in 2005.

“We’re going to say our final goodbyes to a very beautiful human being. It’s very touching to know that he touched so many people,” said Allana Higgins. “We just want him to be remembered for the type of person he was; he was very loving and very caring.”

Relatives were with Higgins at the hospital Wednesday, spending their last few hours with him before he was removed from life support at 3:33 p.m. He died shortly thereafter. Authorities said the case will now be investigated as a homicide.

I know that neighborhood well.  I used to live three blocks from that corner.

In this area the violent street crime is almost entirely Latino on gay.  Reports are currently calling the murderer “a white male,” but if he’s caught, I’d be willing to bet he’ll turn out to be one of those “white Hispanics” we hear so much about.  Maybe he’ll even be an illegal alien white Hispanic.  Maybe he’ll even be an illegal alien white Hispanic unaccompanied child-dreamer.

Still, there’s a silver lining to the gloom:  Thank goodness the victim wasn’t carrying a gun.  Somebody might have gotten hurt.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
