MASSIVE BRAWL Shuts Down St. Louis Galleria …Update: Cops Teargas Ferguson Rioters …Update: Rioters Chuck Bricks on Interstate 270 | The Gateway Pundit

Officers with the Richmond Heights Police Department responded to the St. Louis Galleria Monday evening. The Galleria has closed. It’s unclear why they’re responding, other than a report of “multiple incidents” inside the mall. Brentwood Police also responded. Several stores were evacuated shortly after 6:00. Nordstrom and Macy’s have closed their gates and confirm a lockdown.

The Galleria includes Macy’s, Nordstrom, and Apple Stores.

Must be Tea Partiers.  They’re the only domestic terrorists the Obama administration knows of.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. Me, I’d blame Bush –

    a) Based on recent-years’ precedent, it’s the “default” Gubment position, regardless of level, when “things go wrong”.

    b) The “reasoning” – if called for at all – may be convoluted, and far-fetched to some, but that’s never slowed ‘em up much before.

Either that, or “lack of proper respect towards The Obamanation/the Authorities/hyoomin rights…”

The Standard Urbanized Solution: Something happens a lotta folks don’t like? 1) Gather a mob – preferably with signs, slogan-chants, etc. 2) Trash and loot – start with the party stores, then escalate from there.

  2. Visiting friends in Pine Bluff over the weekend, we were going to lunch just off I-530 and noticed that a lot of police were about. As we pulled into the Chinese place, a group of about twenty people were holding up placards and singing and marching. The placards said “No Black, No White, We Bleed Red”, “Stop the Killing”…you know the like.

There had been a driveby, and a youngster shot. Not just then, a couple of days before.

When we came out after lunch, it was sprinkling rain. All the demonstrators were gone.

Van said, “See, they could have broke up that protest with a water pistol.”

That Van, he’s a real nice guy, just not so up on nuance. And not much of a filter between brain and mouth. He just ain’t right.

But he ain’t altogether wrong, either.
