Undocumented immigrant confronts Rep. Steve King at fundraiser – CNN Political Ticker – CNN.com Blogs

King argued Andiola and Vargas simply came “to create a scene.”

“And I decided early in the conversation that I was not going to walk away,” he told reporters. “They’re here demanding that we change the laws…Why would you want to bring lawlessness to the United States of America? And that’s the question they cannot answer. Why would we want to turn America into a third world country?”

Because they have a lawless, entitled, third world mindset?  As most progressives and leftists do?

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. …they have a lawless, entitled, third world mindset?

Of course they do – they get it, literally, with their Mother’s milk, and have it reinforced, every day of their lives, by what they see and how they are treated in their own country and by what their own government does and, often enough, by what the government officials in this country, the U.S., say and do (or do not do) – how could they not have such a mindset? It “works” for them, and for pretty much everyone they know, so…

All that “positive reinforcement” – no matter what “the law” says, do what “your heart tells you”; all will be well –

And now, of course, that they have materially succeeded in helping to increase the lawlessness and to otherwise assist in the destruction of their own country’s government and freedom and independence – by abandoning it, making no realistic attempt to make it a better, freer, more productive place – they have forced their way into our country, and now demand – what? – realistically, some sort of “legitimacy” that will allow them to gradually force the U.S. government to become just like their own country: disregarding of the law, ruled by “doing what their hearts say is right”, allowing pre-emption of the rules,so long as it gets them what they want, right now…

Thereby, of course – gradually, eventually, making the U.S. into the same sort of “lawless, entitled third world country” they supposedly came here to escape.

But they don’t see that, of course – they see only “I want – so you must accept my want, and give it to me!”
