Federal prosecutors reopen probe of Air Marshal gun scheme, sources say | Fox News

Apparently the “scandal” is that some high FMA mucky-muck received either free “test” weapons or discounted weapons from Sig Sauer, and then either gave or sold them to other FMA officials without jumping through all the insane hoops the gun-grabbing hysterics have imposed on America.  Reading between the lines, it appears that only a handful – likely less than a dozen – pistols were involved in this vast “scandal.”

Before the advent of the firearms psychotics, this not only wouldn’t have been a scandal, it would have been part of the right to keep and bear arms supposedly guaranteed to every American by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Which is why, as scandals go, it rates a big, fat “meh” from me.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. You know what, though? If the rest of us have to go through stupid hoops, I don’t have a problem with government officials getting in trouble for avoiding them, pour encourager les autres.

  2. What you have here is that old ‘professional courtesy’ that allows the poleece to speed, drive drunk, shoot citizen’s pets, steal, rape, and rob.

Because the laws, see, they don’t apply to all. Just all y’all.

    So, yeah. ‘Meh’
