Michelle Obama: I Couldn’t Feed My Kids Right–Even with a Harvard Degree

“Before coming to the White House, I struggled, as a working parent with a traveling, busy husband, to figure out how to feed my kids healthy, and I didn’t get it right,” she explained, sharing a story about her children’s doctor who pulled her aside to talk about her family diet.

“I thought to myself, if a Princeton and Harvard-educated professional woman doesn’t know how to adequately feed her kids, then what are other parents going through who don’t have access to the information I have?” she recalled.

Most mothers aren’t at dumb as you are, Big Mother.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. “I thought to myself, if a Princeton and Harvard-educated professional woman doesn’t know how to adequately feed her kids, then what are other parents going through who don’t have access to the information I have?” she recalled.

So, the answer is to require everyone to listen to the same Princeton and Harvard-educated professionals to learn how to adequately feed their kids?

It takes a special kind of stupid to get that educated.

  2. “Before coming to the White House, I struggled, as a working parent with a traveling, busy husband, to figure out how to feed my kids healthy, and…”

Wasn’t this idiot paid over $300k a year to do some kind of work for the University of Chicago Medical Center or something at one point before going to Washington D.C.? With that kind of money, what kind of moron struggles feeding two kids “healthy” with that kind of income?

  3. “I thought to myself, if a Princeton and Harvard-educated professional woman doesn’t know how to adequately find her ass with both hands and a map or tell the difference between her ass and her elbow, then what are other parents going through who don’t have access to the information I have?” she recalled.

The other parents aren’t going through anything. They’re busy feeding their children healthy. Like their parents did.

  4. Alternative view: she was too “busy” with her “career” to take care of her daughters. Of course, no American mother can admit that her children are not the most important thing in the world, so she bullshitted up something about it’s too ha-a-a-a-ard to figure out.

This has the added benefit of making good ol’ “Tons o’ fun” Moochelle seem like one of the regular people. She knows, of course, that she’s much more intelligent than the regular people — she “earned” a JD, and that’s just as good as a real doctorate and don’t let anyone tell you different — but the cheesy populist in her (not her “husband”; can anyone seriously picture “Mr Mom Pants” in any woman, even one as unwomanly as Moochelle?) tells her to pretend to be “just folks”.
