Change: A political earthquake rocked Europe Sunday, as anti-EU parties swept elections, foremost in Britain and France. It’s a wake-up call for Europe’s elites that big government and zero accountability don’t work anymore.
Well, you know, I’ve been hearing this sort of thing for quite a while. But at the end of the day the EU is still there, there has never been a meaningful referendum in any country as to whether the people wish to belong, the corruption and financial insanities have been swept under a million rugs, and the whole rancid zombie mess continues to shuffle along while a cartel of faceless bureaucrats in Brussels continues to call the tune.
Get back to me when some of this vaunted change actually results in some, you know, change.
Check out my new bestseller, Lightning Fall: A Novel of Disaster. Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit.com says: “Bill Quick has authored a terrific thriller that is also an all too plausible warning. Highly recommended!” Available in Kindle e-book or trade paperback formats.
