Deputies look for red hoodie-wearing man in 7-11 robbery – FOX Carolina 21

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance identifying a person they said was involved in an armed robbery.

Master Deputy Jonathan Smith said on Wednesday around 1:50 a.m. the man entered the 7-Eleven gas station on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Taylors and told an employee that he had a gun.

Smith said the man then demanded the clerk give him the money in the cash register. The clerk gave him the money and he fled, he said.

According to Smith, no injuries were reported in the incident.

Smith said the man is described as being in his late 30s to early 40s, approximately 5’7″, 200 pounds, with short hair and a beard.

One other thing about him:  He was black.

A news report about a black thug in a hoodie?

How racist!

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
