Jeb Bush: Opposing Amnesty ‘Makes No Sense to Me’

“For the life of me I have a hard time understanding why people are fearful of our own heritage, our own history,” Bush reportedly said. “The rules are you come to this country, you pursue your dreams, you create value for yourself and your families and others and great things happens to you and to our country. Why would we ignore that at time when we need to restart and rejuvenate our economy? It makes no sense to me.”

Well, it makes no sense to me than any American in his right mind, not bent on destroying his own country, would vote for you or any member of your clan ever again.

Your family is responsible for two botched wars in Iraq, one in Afghanistan, as well as the horribly botched war on Muslim terror, the creation of the Leviathan Security State that  strangles all of our liberties in the guise of “keeping us safe,” and now you’re pushing to turn the future of America’s electoral outcomes over to millions of illegal aliens that will bankrupt the rest of America as surely as they have California, while making the Democrat Socialists the dominant party on a near-permanent basis.

Enough.  No more Bushes.

Check out my new bestseller, Lightning Fall: A Novel of Disaster. Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit.com says: “Bill Quick has authored a terrific thriller that is also an all too plausible warning. Highly recommended!” Available in Kindle e-book or trade paperback formats.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. “The rules are you come to this country, you pursue your dreams, you create value for yourself and your families and others and great things happens to you and to our country.”

Yeah, wake me up when you enforce that among the people you want to let flood in here, you asshole.

  2. My ancestors came here legally, learned English, sent their children to English only schools, insisted that they integrate rather than segregate, worked hard and taught their children to work hard and to not expect anything to be handed to them. Plus respect your elders and show some respect for yourself and your Country, America, the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. Not that they were Saints but that was what was expected of them by their new countrymen and by themselves.
