Let’s start there. What’s net neutrality?
Net neutrality is the principle that all traffic on the Internet should be treated equally—broadband providers shouldn’t be able to pick and choose which websites consumers can access.
A good explanation. My take? As more and more of our daily lives come to depend on broadband, the more, the better, I expect it to eventually be regulated as a utility, just like the power companies.
Whether that is a good or bad outcome (I’m inclined to be leery) I still expect it to happen. We aren’t a regulatory state for nothing. Too much boodle at stake to pass this up.
Check out my new bestseller, Lightning Fall: A Novel of Disaster. Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit.com says: “Bill Quick has authored a terrific thriller that is also an all too plausible warning. Highly recommended!” Available in Kindle e-book or trade paperback formats.
