Thomas Piketty Interview: Economist Discusses His Distaste for Marx | New Republic

The guy sounds more interesting than I thought he would.  Crap.  Now I’m going to have to go read his book.  As if I didn’t have enough to do to keep me busy.

Check out my new bestseller, Lightning Fall: A Novel of Disaster. Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit.com says: “Bill Quick has authored a terrific thriller that is also an all too plausible warning. Highly recommended!” Available in Kindle e-book or trade paperback formats.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. He professes not to be influenced by Marx and Das Kapital, but in every other respect he sounds just like any other Progressive. Actually Bismarck probably would approve.
