Microsoft’s Elop defends Android-based Nokia X phones | ZDNet

Summary: It’s looking increasingly likely that Microsoft has no intentions of dumping the Android-based Nokia X phones that Nokia introduced just before its handset business became part of Microsoft.

Which should be fun.  Microsoft will be building Android phones.  Of course, Android phone makers have to pay a royalty to Micosoft for the use of the Android OS because of certain proprietary MS tech that Android has licenced….

The accountants are creaming their jeans over stuff like this.

Check out my new bestseller, Lightning Fall: A Novel of Disaster. Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit.com says: “Bill Quick has authored a terrific thriller that is also an all too plausible warning. Highly recommended!” Available in Kindle e-book or trade paperback formats.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
