Of course he does. And any serious politician will have to do that, no matter which party he represents.
But here’s something that no Democrat will ever be willing to discuss: The question of whether the Democrat Welfare State has improved the lives and culture of the poorest class of Black Americans it was supposedly designed to help.
This is not to say that spontaneous celebrations broke out in Harry Reid’s office the instant Cliven’s ham-handed remarks hit the wires. Of course they did, and with good reason. Unfortunately, normal Americans aren’t well-versed in dealing with the partisan sneakiness of the MSM.
