During state Obamacare hearing, North Carolina Democrat asks how many women get prostate cancer | WashingtonExaminer.com

North Carolina Democrat Verla Insko got some chuckles from some of her colleagues in the state Senate during legislative hearings on Obamacare after she asked about the percentage of prostate cancer patients that were women.

“What percent of the prostate cancer patients are women?” Insko, a state representative from Chapel Hill, asked Duke University research scholar Chris Conover during the hearing in Raleigh on Tuesday.

Somebody probably told the stupid bint that men and women were equal in all things.  And if not, well, sexism.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. Something’s strange about this story. Everyone knows that it’s the slope-foreheaded Republicans who don’t know any science, and in fact deny science. You know, those Young Earth, cure-disease-by-praying, denialist types. Democrats, as everyone knows, are better educated and more intelligent and better adjusted and just plain better by all measures devised by university professors.
