Strong Man

Classical Values » What? We should want a strong Obama?

Here’s something that should surprise no one.

A recent poll indicates that a majority of Americans think Putin is a stronger leader than Obama:

Maybe it is the photos of him posing shirtless on horseback, or his military push into Ukraine, but Americans in a new poll believe Russian President Vladimir Putin is a much stronger leader than President Obama.

I doubt that it’s “shirtless Putin on a horse” that presents the impression that Putin is stronger than Obama.

I think it’s more like people seeing Putin telling Obama, “Bend over and spread your cheeks,” and Obama saying, “Sure.  How wide?”

I hope Obama stays weak. The weaker the better.

He’s weak abroad.  Here at home, engaged in destroying our liberties, our traditions, and our economy, he’s strong.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
