Obama, John Boehner to meet Tuesday in Oval Office |

President Obama will meet with House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, on Tuesday morning, the White House announced.

The two are scheduled to speak at 11:30 a.m. in the Oval Office.

The president and speaker will discuss a “broad set of topics,” according to Boehner’s office.

The only thing likely on the agenda of this meeting is what payoffs Boehner can expect for pushing a scamnesty bill through the House with only a small minority of  the GOP backing it.

Which will likely cost him his speakership, so he wants to get the terms of the payoff nailed down before he walks the plank.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
