ObamaCare patients with serious pre-existing diseases could face expensive drug costs

People with serious pre-existing diseases, precisely those the president aimed to help with ObamaCare, could find themselves paying for expensive drug treatments with no help from the health care exchanges.

These people can always appeal the decisions. What’s the worst that could happen to them? Death panels? Audits by a politically-directed IRS?

And lest you think it’s just normal, innocent people caught up in the impersonal gears of bureaucracy:

…a woman with lupus, an auto-immune disease.

She starts by saying, “I voted for Barack Obama for president. I thought ObamaCare was going to be a good thing.”

…her insurance was canceled because of ObamaCare, pushing her premiums from $52 to $373 a month.

Sounds like tried to get Obuggercare because she had an expensive illness. If it screwed everyone else, that was OK because she’d be doing better. But O NOEZ!!1! Now she’s the one getting screwed.

Please excuse my lack of sympathy.

  1. Hmmmmm. The monthly jobs report has shown weakness two months in a row, just about the time the nasty effects of Obamacare started kicking in. Interesting correlation. I wonder if there is any causation involved.
