Cruz Epidemic of Damp Drawers On the Left in Both the GOP and the Democrats

Cruz to get hero’s welcome in Iowa and New Hampshire | TheHill

Cullen acknowledged that Cruz’s tactics would likely win over conservative activists but questioned whether he has come to be viewed by centrists as too far to the right.

“I do think objectively it probably plays pretty well to the base,” he said.

“What’s your long-term aim?” Cullen added. “Are you interested in getting elected nationally? All you’re doing right now is setting up a political career that will hit its ceiling very quickly, and it’s a pretty low ceiling.”

Yeah.  That ceiling is the Presidency of the United States, and the destruction of your Gentry GOP death-grip on the Republican Party.

Of course, these tools at The Hill go to supporters of losers like Mike Huckabee, the compassionate religious Marxist statist, for dispositive comments on Crus, and mirabile dictu, they get them!

I think it’s becoming quite obvious that Ted Cruz is the left’s worst nightmare, and that they are becoming more and more terrified of him.  On the other hand, I think fewer Americans are listening to these people, or give a damn what they say.

Those are the people who’ve been turned off from politics by the Me-Too GOP, and the establishment is going to be shocked at how many of them come flooding back into the system to back a Cruz candidacy.

And just to twist their knickers into a bigger wet wad, most of the returnees are going to be white.  I mean if Obama can “energize his black base,” why can’t Cruz energize his white one?

Oh, wait.  That’s probably racist, isn’t it?

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. “I think it’s becoming quite obvious that Ted Cruz is the left’s worst nightmare…”

I’m going to guess it is a bigger nightmare for the rino’s.

“Oh, wait. That’s probably racist, isn’t it?”

Of, course it is, it doesn’t support Obambi.

  2. Amurrica, it needs to be said, may be ready for a woman* President – just not that particular woman* as President…

Let’s indeed hope that, among them, Nanny Pee-lousy, Hairy Weed and Li’l Obambam – especially that last one – have rendered sufficiently asunder the Democrap “brand” that even the legendary Clintoonian politickin’ mo-sheen will be unable to overcome the damage – no matter how hard the Greasy Old Party’s RINO-based “Elite” try to snatch defeat from the jaws of incipient victory – in 2015/16.

If that can hold true, the worst that we can expect – given continued Rethuglican command of at least the House and possibly of the Senate as well – is: the final-final exposure and destruction of the Rotten Underbelly that is that selfsame RINO-based “Elite”, limb and branch – and a rebuilding can begin, perhaps…

Provided we don’t become a Grecian economy writ large in the meanwhile.

Update: I’d really like to believe that, in the current GOP setup, a Ted-Cruz-For-President effort could prove successful for 2015/16 – and I certainly intend to do all that I possibly can to make such a thing possible. However, I doubt the possible success of that – there’s not yet enough discontent with the possible/likely crop of GOP-”Elite”-approved candidates. Still – would be nice…
