AUSTIN >> El Paso businessman Paul Foster might have attended a secret conclave held last week by the Koch brothers, billionaire industrialists who tap big-money donors to push an anti-regulatory agenda.
If Foster attended, a prominent political scientist said Wednesday, he could harm the public’s faith in his ability to serve as chairman of the University of Texas Board of Regents.
Or not. And, of course, this wouldn’t be news at all if Foster had attended a meeting with, oh, the head of the AFL-CIO, which taps big money unions to push a hard-left socialist agenda.
Besides, I thought the progtard leftists-with-bylines loved themselves some bipartisanship.
