Chris Christie attacks N.Y. Times, David Wildstein – Mike Allen and Maggie Haberman –

The Christie camp begins by criticizing The Times for its initial characterization of the Wildstein letter: “A media firestorm was set off by sloppy reporting from the New York Times and their suggestion that there was actually ‘evidence’ when it was a letter alleging that ‘evidence exists.’”

This is the response of a desperate man.  He’s laying everything on the prayer that no such evidence exists.

If it does, he’s one politically dead, lying Doughboy.  It’s generally not the deed that gets you.  It’s the coverup.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. It’s generally not the deed that gets you. It’s the coverup.

Considering that the Ruling Class is the best and brightest — just ask them — it’s surprising how much trouble they have learning this lesson. And a bunch of other lessons which are obvious to us lesser folk, for that matter.
