Report: Some Bay Area Communities Could Run Out Of Water Within 4 Months « CBS San Francisco

SAN JOSE (KCBS) — As the drought in California continues, 17 communities throughout the state could run out of water within 60 to 120 days, state officials said. In some districts, the wells are running dry while other reservoirs are nearly empty.

The state Health Department compiled a list after surveying the more than 3,000 water agencies in California last week.

Or not.  The Old Farmers Almanac is forecasting quite a bit of precip for the region through May.  And they’ve been spot on all this year.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
