Speaking at the United States Conference of Mayors on Friday, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said the approximately 11 million people who are in the country illegally have “earned the right to be citizens.”
Earned? What the hell is this moron talking about? How is breaking the law over an extended period of time considered to be earning anything?
If they’ve “earned” it, it means we owe them citizenship. That is like telling burglars who’ve broken into your home that they’ve earned the right to steal your stuff. And that’s evil, crazy…or both.
I wonder if Mr. Secretary would mind if I kick in his front door and appropriate his big screen, because I’ve “earned” it by the crime I committed in illegally entering his home.
