39% Say Wars in Afghanistan, Iraq Have Increased Domestic Terrorist Threat – Rasmussen Reports™

Voters strongly believe that radical Islam remains a threat to the United States, and a sizable number thinks the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have only made the problem worse.

Well, since neither of these wars did anything about the primary motivators of Islamic terrorism – the rogue governments/regimes of Iran and Saudi Arabia who support, finance, arm, train, protect, and use most of it – they’re probably right.  That the Saudi regime – which supports al Qaeda – and the Iranian regime – which supports Hizb’Allah and a host of other Shia terror organizations – are still untouched after more than a dozen years of a supposed “war on terror” demonstrates just what a travesty this has really been.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
