The current Obamacare flail, with President Mouth-Hole rewriting the law on the fly, and now this backhanded acknowledgment of the White House’s biggest fear, makes my previously voiced prediction of a post-2014 Congress in which Obamacare is actually repealed outright by a veto-proof bipartisan majority seem all the more likely to me.
Obama knows that no Republican will vote to save the ACA. But now he’s facing an increasingly strong possibility that the members of his own party will help the GOP kill Obamacare – before it kills them.
