Court Rejects Obama Admin Executive Privilege Arguments | Washington Free Beacon

“The government appears to adopt the cavalier attitude that the President should be permitted to convey orders throughout the Executive Branch without public oversight … to engage in what is in effect governance by ‘secret law,’” Huvelle said.

Well, sure.  After all, it’s good to be the King.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. Does anyone think Obama won’t continue on with his “how many divisions has the Court?” modus operandi?

Did his illegal NLRB appointees ever step down? (A quick search shows that the first guy did when his term expired, but there’s apparently still litigation over other appointments and by extension, the rulings issued.)
