Ezekiel Emanuel: If You Like Your Doctor, You Can Pay More Under Obamacare

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the hapless, goalpost-shifting so-called “architect” of Obamacare, told Fox News’ Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday that President Barack Obama’s promise “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor” was absolutely true–with one important caveat: if you like your doctor, “you can pay for it.”

You know, MSM commentators keep saying that the President and his regime have “mispoken, misled, misunderstood,” and a host of other euphemisms to avoid speaking the naked truth, which is that these people lied, by ommission and commission, from the very beginning. And they lied about everything, cold, calculating lies, because they had to lie.

If they’d told the truth about their Marxist scam, they could never have gotten it passed into law. Well, as much law as is actually left to it, with Dear Leader revising 10,000 pages of statutes and regulations on the fly.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. I’m thinking this kind of attempted stretching of the truth to the breaking point is one of the reasons O’s support is tanking among women. Single women especially get pretty damn tired of the hair-splitting BS from men trying to get sex or living support from them with the least possible commitment or trouble.

I wonder if, for many of them, their attitude toward O has followed the trajectory they’ve had with some of the worst men in their lives: wonder and glory at first, during which they idolized him. Then a bit of subterfuge that was explained away. Then getting caught in lies several more times. Finally, gradually increasing realization that the guy is just a parasitic d-bag who has told them exactly what he thought they wanted to hear from the beginning and *never* really cared about them, with his only concern being how much he could take advantage of them.

    • That is a fascinating conjecture, especially because I’ve been thinking for years that Obama is just like a lot of the (poor excuses for) women I’ve encountered: self-centered, possessed of a huge sense of entitlement, possessed of no useful skills, constantly making promises he has no intention of keeping, never has supported himself honestly or made any contribution to society.

I think that once Obama’s full legacy is told, he’ll be the flip side of Julius Caesar, who was described as every woman’s man and every man’s woman. Obama will be known as every woman’s douchebag ex-boyfriend and every man’s jobless ex-wife.
