How Obamacare Lost Its Soul – Michael Zuckerman – The Atlantic

I’m sorry, but this has to be one of the most idiotic questions I’ve ever seen – even from the likes of The Atlantic.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. Of all the moronic, self-serving bullshit seen regarding the (Un)Affordable (Don’tReally)Care Act, that has to rank at the very bottom – it’s just that pig-headedly rank.

Nothing, but nothing, that The Obamanation has engaged in subsequent to January 20, 2009 has been any more soulless, more calculatedly cold and essentially uncaring regarding people’s lives than the atrocity called Obamacare and the monstrous mendacity surrounding it, both before and after the fact of its being jammed down the throats of the U.S. citizenry. It’s all as clear-cut an example as possible that declarations of “good, benevolent intentions”, utilized to motivate compulsory Big-Gubment insanity and innumeracy, amount to the ultimate evil in human relations.

Zuckerman, his editor and The Atlantic should all be somehow required to issue a public apology in the most abject terms for having allowed that pathetic lunacy to see print.

It’s going to be pretty difficult to “un-remember” that piece of disgusting drivel, but I certainly intend to try to do so.
