State conservative groups plan public sector assault, documents show – UPI.com

Conservative groups in 34 U.S. states plan coordinated assaults on taxes, healthcare, public sector pensions and the environment, organizing papers indicate.

…The conservative strategy, organized and coordinated by the State Policy Network in Arlington, Va., includes proposals to cut public sector pensions, lower government-worker wages, eliminate income taxes, oppose Medicaid expansion and combat regional efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change, the documents outlining 40 funding proposals in 34 states show.

Or to rephrase:

Conservative groups plan to cut bloated, unaffordable public sector pensions that are far better than those the average American enjoys, lower sky-high, city and state-bankrupting government worker wages that are far better than those the taxpayers footing the bill for them enjoy, eliminate ever-growing state and local income taxes that strangle job growth in its crib, oppose the expansion of the single biggest line item in all state budgets, the unfunded Medicaid program, and combat expensive, futile efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that nobody has managed to prove cause anthropogenic climate change which, itself may not actually exist.

How do you like my unbiased rewrite of this unbiased piece?

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

    Their take or yours, either way, sheer music to my ears.

    Although yours is undoubtedly the more honestly-stated and clearly-accurate one – you mad, passionate raaa-a-ciiiist, you…

    Only two questions, really:

    1) Since this is, essentially, al-Guardian (that British Bastion of Bullshit) putting out this “reportage”, how can we be reasonably certain this is actual-fact-based, and not just propaganda ju-ju designed to aid Leftist fund-raising efforts – I mean, we’re talkin’ al-Guardian, here; no pit of lying bullshit is too deep for them to muck around in, right? – and;

    2) Assuming that this is reality-based and this State Policy Network thingy is actually mounting efforts to sally forth and nobly do battle more-or-less as described, how can we best aid and abet those efforts?

    Inquiring Minds Wish To Know, right?

    Assaults. Like Newtown. Like Aurora. These people are no different. They want the helpless, the innocent and the defenseless to suffer and die. But you defend them? How can you live with yourself? I, on the other hand, oppose these murderous thugs. I am an excellent person.
