Moreover, it’s certainly incorrect to claim, as some Republicans have, that people are losing insurance coverage. Instead, in virtually all cases, it’s being replaced with probably better (and possibly more expensive) insurance.
It’s perfectly correct, however, to point out (not “claim,” you smarmy hacks) that people are losing the insurance coverage they want.
Let’s say that you go to McDonald’s every day and eat the dollar meal. Then you walk in one morning only to find that McDonalds is no longer allowed to sell you a dollar meal, because it doesn’t have a sufficient level of government mandated vitamins. So instead you must now buy the much larger two dollar meal, which does meet government mandates, whether you want it or not. Then add the kicker that some of the extra money you are now forced to pay for food you don’t want will be used to subsidize other people who will then be able to buy your two dollar meal for one dollar.
Sure, give Obama four Pinocchios for his lies, but give yourself five, because you simply can’t stop yourself from lying about Republicans, either. Even when pointing out Obama’s lies.
