Read the whole thing, which is reminiscent of the helpful
attacks on the Clinton administration by Dem-friendly technerds
back in the 1990s when Bill, Janet Reno, Al Gore, and other cool
Boomers were working overtime to regulate the Net and build
government-friendly hardware via the Clipper
Chip, the Communications Decency Act, and other attacks on free expression.
As with Mickey Kaus, I tend to take such complaints with a bucket of salt or two, given that both men will always, always, always vote for the democrats they complain about so vociferously. There are a lot of them out there.
Of course, their response will be, “Okay, but the worst Democrat is better than the best Republican. Simply because I’ll always vote for Democrats doesn’t mean I can’t criticize them.”
And there is an element of truth to that. But only an element. After a while, especially when it becomes obvious what you are voting for, the excuse wears thin. So, Mickey and Jeff: Who did you vote for in 2012, after it was completely obvious what Barack Obama was going to do on illegal immigration/amnesty (Mickey’s hobby horse) and national security (Jeff’s steed)?
Obama, you say?
