Actually, this is a lie. No president may decline to “faithfully execute the laws.” His constitutional duty extends to judging the constitutionality of a law when he decides whether to sign or veto it. But once it is the law, then he must faithfully execute it.
To do otherwise is to provide perfectly legitimate grounds for impeachments, conviction, and removal from office. That this is likely impossible under our current Ruling Party Regime is an even bigger problem than Obama himself.
The remedy for that is an Amending Convention that implements Mark Levin’s Liberty Amendments, as well as a few others.
