Chris Matthews: The Black Guy is the Bad Guy

Ed Driscoll » Chris Matthews’ Pauline Kael Moment

“All my family, my liberal sons, my liberal wife. Everybody thinks the guy, Zimmerman’s the bad guy,” Matthews blurts out on NBC/Comcast-owned MSNBC, Noel Sheppard writes today at Newsbusters:

For the second night in a row, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews made a stunning admission.

After telling his Hardball audience Tuesday that Democrats “believe in illegal immigration,” Matthews said Wednesday, “I’m surrounded by people who think he’s guilty, Zimmerman. All my family, my liberal sons, my liberal wife. Everybody thinks the guy, Zimmerman’s the bad guy” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

The entire MSM chattering class feels this way, and slants its reporting likewise. Which is why so many low-information Americans (by definition, anybody who gets all their news from the MSM is “low-information”) are going to be utterly shocked when Zimmerman is acquitted.

And why the no-information Americans in various urban ghettos are going to be even more angered – to the point of violence in some cases, I would expect.

And all of that will be on the shoulders of the hacks who so deliberately misled them in order to help out Barack Hussein Obama’s efforts to mobilize the black vote in 2012 and 2014.

UPDATE:  Anent the title of this post – Zimmerman is not only Hispanic, he’s 1/4 black – or, as Glenn Reynolds often points out, blacker than Homer Plessy.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
