Peter Schiff vs. Stuart Varney

Pushing tired, old mainstream economic opinion (which was incredibly, uncannily wrong, and still is), Stuart Varney gets schooled by Peter Schiff (who actually understands economics) on the FOX Business channel.

Always pleasant to see a breath of fresh air like this. Of course, you have to be reading the Rightosphere to even get a whiff of it.

Because among the sinister bastards, this is garlic to their vampires.

BTW, why is an unregenerate socialist like Varney featured on the supposedly conservative FOX business network?

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. Seems to be the growing situation, o.g. -

Used to be bad enough when we’d get the occasional “fugitive” leaking down out of Canada, or popping up on an overseas feed, mostly on lefty-wacko Ted Turner’s (Semi-)C(ommunist)N(ooz)N(utworks), but in recent times there seems to have become an ever-increasing drivel (not really a misspelling, there) of the Brit-accent-persuasion slithering onto all of the Mostly Slimy Media…

Apparently, the managerial types at “news” outlets have become infected with a curious enthusiasm for the sort of accented lunacy exemplified by, say, Piers Morgan – to the obvious (further) detriment of what passes for “news” and/or “commentary” in these increasingly-parlous times.
