Top Black Dem: “We’re Supportive Of The President, But We’re Getting Tired” | RealClearPolitics

“We don’t know why on this trip that he’s in the United States now, he’s not in any black communities. We don’t know that,” Waters said.

I do. It’s because he knows he’s got the black vote sewed up tight for all eternity, no matter what he does or doesn’t do. Face it. Politically speaking, you’re all just toiling away on the Democratic plantation, and he knows it.

Bottom line: You have no clout. You gave it away. I mean, what are you gonna do? Call him a racist for ignoring you?

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. He’s not refusing to court them because they are too dark. He’s not bothering because he doesn’t have to in order to get their votes.

As I said, blacks have no power in the Democrat party because they gave it away. Just as the Gentry GOP would like conservatives to do likewise, vote for anybody with elephant ears, whether we like them or not.

That’s why they are so appalled by Tea Parties and viable conservative candidates not beholden to them. It foreshadows their loss of control.
