Obama Launches “Truth Team” To Respond To GOP Attacks
Here we go again! Attack Watch has been resurrected, as the new and improved “Truth Teams!” Obama wants two million useful idiots to volunteer to pump his “successes” (most of which happened despite him), spread his disinformation, and push his propaganda into every nook and cranny of the Internet. I guess with his Media Matters cover blown, he’s throwing them under the bus. Instead, we can expect the new Ministry of Truth to saturate us all with that lovely Obama truthiness, imported direct from the boiler rooms of Chicago. No word on when he expects delivery of the memory holes.
Pretty tricky – he’d have to have had some first, wouldn’t he?…
Unless, of course, they’re going to “pump” his “successes” at:
- Steepening the slide into recession/depression territory from the malaise-slump of late-2006 to late-2008 into the screaming death-spiral of early-2009 to mid-2011 and beyond (Deficit? All those trillions?? Hey, that was all Bush’s fault, man!!);
- Spending-and-taxing/borrowing-and-spending-some-more in the absurdly counter-productive “Keynesian” moronity in which Gubmint “creates and saves” an average monthly deficit of roughly a quarter-million entries on the “funemployment” roster for nearly three full years (Man, how ’bout that hugely-successful “Stimulus”? – all those “shovel-ready” projects really made those job numbers jump, now, didn’t they?);
- Establishing, in one swell foop and by dint of lying, conniving, fear-mongering and political extortion, that, in his “reality”, Overpowering FedGov is permitted – nay, compelled – to require purchase of a Gubmint-mandated product that few want, even fewer have any need for, and that will inflate the cost of anything similar hugely while simultaneously decreasing any real or imagined benefit to be derived from said product (Hey, who gives a flying sh*t about that silly-assed “Constitution” thingy, right?);
- Not to mention that hugely successful “stimulus” of the car industry in which he expended $4,500 apiece on thoroughly destroying thousands of older-but-still-usable vehicles, thereby giving new-car sales (most of which were foreign makes or mid- to large-size SUVs, but hey, that doesn’t mean anything, right?) a – what? – six/seven week-long boost? (Sure did benefit ol’
GenerousGubmint Motors and that “domestically-owned” Chrysler Corp – along with all theirnew stockholders/board-membersUAW Big-Union buddies, didn’t it?)- Meanwhile, of course, The Obamanation was carefully preserving – even sometimes augmenting – all those ugly, Bush Administration “near-war crime” things that he’d said he would be sure to end quicklikerightnow once he was
