KitchenAid KP26M1PGC Professional 600 Series 6-Quart Stand Mixer, Cinnamon Gloss

This is one of the major big ticket items every serious cook wants in their kitchen. And $259 is a heck of a deal on one. Better hurry, though. This is the last model left at that price.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian with conservative leanings on most issues, except on many traditionally conservative social issues, where my stance would be regarded as hopelessly liberal by most social conservatives. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

Seriously. If I didn’t already have one, I’d be all over this one.

Surprised how expensive these are now, bought one for the wife about 8 years ago for just under 180 bucks at Sears, now they appear to be reaching for the 500 dollar mark. Definitely wait for a sale and grab it anywhere near 200.

Jay, which model? This is the top of the line big dog. I bought mine – same model – five or six years ago – and paid close to $300 bucks during one of the Xmas shopping lists Mojo and I put together for the Weekend Cooking Thread.
